Your Role as a Manufacturing Supervisor:
- Achieve positive customer service with on-time delivery and high-quality standards
- Drive productivity improvements through OEE
- Develop and manage a positive, high-performing team
- Plan, organise, and prioritise workloads to meet production targets
- Actively contribute to the achievement KPIs in safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and delivery
- Lead initiatives based on lean principles, including 5S and SMED, to optimize performance
- Maintain the in-house Time Management System and oversee attendance, holidays, etc
What You'll Need:
- Proven leadership experience in a engineering or manufacturing and production environment
- Strong people management skills, including employee engagement, motivation, and performance development
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and tolerances
- Familiarity with lean principles (5S, SMED) and their practical application
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of health and safety compliance in a manufacturing environment
- MRP/ERP system experience
- ILM qualification or equivalent (or time-served)
