Manufacturing Supervisor - Precision Engineering - Up to 40,000 - Braintree - 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

A leading manufacturer of precision engineering components is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team. Your Role as a Manufacturing Supervisor:

  • Achieve positive customer service with on-time delivery and high-quality standards
  • Drive productivity improvements through OEE
  • Develop and manage a positive, high-performing team
  • Plan, organise, and prioritise workloads to meet production targets
  • Actively contribute to the achievement KPIs in safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and delivery
  • Lead initiatives based on lean principles, including 5S and SMED, to optimize performance
  • Maintain the in-house Time Management System and oversee attendance, holidays, etc

What You'll Need:

  • Proven leadership experience in a engineering or manufacturing and production environment
  • Strong people management skills, including employee engagement, motivation, and performance development
  • Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Familiarity with lean principles (5S, SMED) and their practical application
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid understanding of health and safety compliance in a manufacturing environment
  • MRP/ERP system experience
  • ILM qualification or equivalent (or time-served)
