We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support the procurement processes, maintain accurate records, liaise with suppliers, and ensure the smooth delivery of goods and services.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cycle counts, investigate stock discrepancies, and update records.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and stock allocation.
  • Generate reports on stock levels and replenishment needs.
  • Raise and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve order discrepancies.
  • Support pricing negotiations and procurement compliance.
  • Get involved with all Health & Safety policies including conducting inspections and supporting safety training.
  • Maintain records of risk assessments and incidents.
About You:
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse stock trends.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory systems.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
