The Role

We're seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant with an interest in marketing to provide comprehensive support to the CEO. This exciting opportunity combines traditional EA responsibilities with significant involvement in marketing and content creation. We're looking for a self-disciplined and proactive individual who brings positive energy to everything they do. The ideal candidate will be confident in contributing ideas while maintaining the diplomatic skills needed to challenge constructively. Your natural ability to read situations and build relationships will be crucial, as will your organised, detail-oriented approach to work. Based from their impressive North Cumbrian head office, this dynamic position offers an excellent work-life balance with a hybrid working arrangement - perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:00, Friday 8:30-3:45 (45-minute lunch breaks)

Location: Hybrid (ideally 3 days on-site, 2 days from home) Office based 10 miles from Brampton

Travel: Occasional (once a month) travel to their North West office for Board meetings (expenses and accommodation provided)

Key Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive executive support including time management and activity tracking

  • Managing the CEO's dual email inboxes and calendar

  • Financial administration including expense management for CEO

  • Preparing and managing board meeting agendas, minutes, and action points

  • Supporting the Senior Leadership Team as needed

  • Managing webinar sessions and digital events

  • LinkedIn engagement and business development support

  • Contributing to content creation and video production

  • Managing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong IT literacy and systems proficiency

  • Exceptional organisational and time management capabilities

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence

  • Professional discretion and confidentiality

  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

  • Experience in managing executive diaries and correspondence

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience is preferred

Our client's modern head office is beautifully situated in rural Cumbria, approximately 30 miles from Carlisle. The office building features dedicated training facilities and comfortable office space, home to a friendly and dynamic head office of 7 team members. .
