What's involved?
As an Assistant Manager you will lead from the front motivating the team around you and have high standards and knowledge of F&B. you will also be responsible for;
- Leadership & Team Management: Inspire and motivate team, lead by example, coach and develop staff, address performance issues, manage day-to-day operations.
- Service Excellence: Ensure outstanding guest experiences, resolve complaints, maintain high service standards, and support shift managers.
- Compliance & Systems: Adhere to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and licensing laws, maintain cleanliness, and ensure accurate stock control and compliance with company policies.
- Operations & Logistics: Manage stock rotation, ordering, and inventory; oversee front-of-house and bar operations; ensure equipment functionality and building maintenance.
- Recruitment & Appraisals: Assist in interviews, staff reviews, and appraisals while maintaining confidentiality.
- Event Promotion & Customer Interaction: Run promotional campaigns, organize events, and ensure positive customer interactions.
- Administration: Oversee administrative duties, ensure systems compliance, attend meetings, and maintain communication across all levels.
