Job Overview

The client/employer are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee a commercial refurbishment construction project.

Your first project for this Nottinghamshire based business is to manage a West Suffolk Military Accommodation Block refurbishment valued at circa 1.5m in electrical services which runs from Feb'25 - Feb'26.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The employer are Nottingham based, so there will be an opportunity to join there team for further projects

Responsibilities

* Oversee daily site operations and ensure adherence to project timelines.
* Manage and supervise site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
* Implement health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Prepare reports on project status, including progress updates and resource allocation.
* Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
* Ensure effective time management across all aspects of the project.

Experience

* Previous experience within the Construction industry, maybe as a Supervisor, Project Engineer or Junior Project Manager
* Strong knowledge of electrical installation processes, materials, and technical knowledge.
* Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to help manage teams.
* Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently under pressure.
