This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and integrity of materials used across various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be responsible for conducting on-site material testing, inspections, and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • On-Site Material Testing: Conduct and document field testing of construction materials such as concrete, soil, aggregates, and asphalt to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of materials delivered to sites, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record test results, compile reports, and communicate findings to the project team.
  • Travel: Frequent travel to various job sites is required, with occasional overnight stays depending on project location.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other site personnel to support smooth project execution.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
