- On-Site Material Testing: Conduct and document field testing of construction materials such as concrete, soil, aggregates, and asphalt to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality of materials delivered to sites, ensuring they meet the necessary requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record test results, compile reports, and communicate findings to the project team.
- Travel: Frequent travel to various job sites is required, with occasional overnight stays depending on project location.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other site personnel to support smooth project execution.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ideal: Preferably a background within Civil Engineering
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to varying work environments.
