Job Overview
General duties that are required but not limited to:
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems issues.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Monitor and optimise production processes to maximise efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime. - Other ad-hoc engineering/maintenance duties.
Skills Required
Certification in Electrical and Mechanical Engineer.
Experience with PLC systems and automation.
Strong knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule and occasional weekend work.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures. - Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Previous experience of working within a food manufacturing environment to BRC guidelines is essential.
