Our client is a leading farming and fresh produce business, due to their continued growth and development they are seeking to employ a Team Leader/Line Leader for their Brandon site to start asap.

This is an ongoing role potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate.

Hour rate is £12.65 per hour.

Working hours will be:

Rotational

6.30am till 3.30pm/4pm - one week

11am till finish – second week.

Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.

The candidate will need to be flexible and able to work extra hours during peak times.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Running and supervising a production line.

Motivating and training both permanent and temporary employees.

Communicating and delegating weekly and daily tasks to the team.

Help promote positive and productive environment.

Promptly addressing any staffing issues that may arise.

Relay relevant information regarding team performances and targets.

Ensure a safe working environment and promote Health & Safety compliance.

Ensure timely completion of production plan.

Ensure operatives follow the production schedule.

Filling out production and relevant paperwork.

Regular communication of performance and KPI's for your area

Requirements for the role

Good communication skills both verbal and written.

Team player, motivated and organized.

Understanding of continued improvement and lean manufacturing processes.

Basic knowledge of the technical process.

Able to work under pressure.

Positive and calm attitude.

Flexible and able to work long hours.

Good problem solving skills.

Happy to progress, develop personally and team members.
