We're partnering with a well-established manufacturer in Brandon, Suffolk, seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, work on diverse equipment, and earn a competitive salary in a thriving industry.
You will be working on a variety of mechanical and plant machinery so anyone who comes from a background in engineering, whether it be manufacturing or site engineering will be considered.
This is a dusty and physically taxing environment so we are looking for candidates who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.
This position will be paying circa 40,000, with a guaranteed 47.5 hours a week contract. Overtime is also available at time and a half.
Mechanical Fitter Duties:
- Completing PPM and reactive maintenance on-site machinery
- Utilising hand and power tools to disassemble machines
- Operate mechanical and plant machinery
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines
- Helping with production when necessary
The standard working hours for this position are 06:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday.
