A well-established manufacturer in Brandon, Suffolk, is expanding its team and looking for a Plant Maintenance Engineer. This role provides the chance to develop skills, work with diverse mechanical and plant machinery, and earn a competitive salary in a thriving industry.
This position will be paying up from 40,000, with a guaranteed 47.5 hours a week contract. Overtime is also available at time and a half.
This is a dusty and physically taxing environment, so we are looking for candidates who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.
Mechanical Fitter Duties:
- Completing PPM and reactive maintenance on-site machinery
- Utilising hand and power tools to disassemble machines
- Operate mechanical and plant machinery
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines
- Helping with production when necessary
The standard working hours for this position are 06:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday.
