We are working with a PCN near Bury St Edmunds who are looking for an onsite Clinical Pharmacist to join them on a full/part time basis. You will be required to work and travel between their sites.

Main duties:

  • Clinically assessing & treating patients, using expert knowledge of medicines, for specific disease areas.
  • Providing specialist expertise in the use of medicines & medicine information.
  • Providing pharmaceutical medication review & health education advice to patients, face-to-face, via telephone or notes-based review.
  • Providing leadership on person-centred medicines optimisation & quality improvement;
  • Supporting practice dispensary.
  • Contributing to the reduction of medicine wastage within practices across the PCN.

Essentials:

  • Completion of a degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Post-qualification experience in pharmacy (hospital, primary care or community), or working towards obtaining this.
  • Qualified independent prescriber, or working towards this.
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
