OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our client based in Brandon. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
- Engage in heavy lifting and materials handling as required.
- Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and stock movements.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all items are correctly logged and stored.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently when required, adhering to all operational guidelines.
- Support stock management efforts by conducting regular inventory checks.
Skills
- Proficiency in picking packing processes.
- Experience with heavy lifting techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving protocols.
- Ability to handle materials safely in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Experience operating forklifts is highly desirable; relevant certifications are a plus. Full training will be provided.
This is a temporary to permanent role and is required for an immediate start. Hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 430pm.
