What You'll Be Doing:

  • Keep Things Running: Carry out fault-finding, problem-solving, and planned and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and performance.
  • Prioritise Production: Respond to internal production needs efficiently to minimise downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Safety First: Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety standards, maintaining accurate and audit-ready documentation at all times.
  • Drive Improvements: Be part of the cultural shift by identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance health & safety, operational efficiency, and overall effectiveness.
  • Work on a Variety of Equipment: You'll be involved with maintaining a wide range of machinery from manufacturing to packaging systems.

What We're Looking For: Maintenance Engineer

  • Experienced Engineer: Apprentice-trained with a formal electrical engineering qualification and a strong background in FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Electrical & Mechanical Skills: Proven experience in fault-finding across both mechanical and electrical systems, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  • Qualifications Matter: Ideally, you'll have NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, 18th Edition Electrical, and an IOSH qualification. PLC fault analysis experience is a plus!
