**Position:** Pipe Fitter Welder
**Location:** Burton-on-Trent

Are you an experienced Pipe Fitter Welder looking for a new challenge? We are working on behalf of a well-established client in Burton-on-Trent to find a skilled individual to join their dynamic team.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manufacture and assemble company products according to production drawings and specifications.
- Perform welding and fabricating of components and assemblies.
- Adhere to set timescales and maintain high-quality standards.
- Identify and report defects or shortfalls in raw materials and components that may cause production delays.
- Identify and report opportunities to reduce production costs and timescales.
- Maintain accurate documentary evidence of work processes in line with the company’s Quality Management System.

**Skills and Experience:**
- Mechanical assembly experience.
- Pipe forming, fitting, and assembly expertise.
- Proficiency in welding and fabricating, especially TIG welding of stainless steel.
- Knowledge of welding principles and equipment, including setting amperage and gas flow for different weld types and material thicknesses.
- Familiarity with process and hygienic industry standards.
- Preferably, experience in welding piping and pipe fittings.
- Sound mechanical knowledge or practical experience in a role with transferable skills.
- Ability to understand and work from schematic drawings.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Basic assembly techniques knowledge, including crimping, wiring, and press-fit jointing.
- Competence in using a range of hand tools (drilling, tapping, cutting, etc.).
