My client a ever growing building contractor is looking for Residential Refurbishment Project Manager to oversee high-quality refurbishment projects for existing residential properties and be responsible for managing projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets the highest standards. The role involves coordinating contractors, managing budgets, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining client satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle.

You will be involved in the Project Planning & Coordination: Create detailed project plans, work schedules, and budgets and coordinate tradespeople and suppliers to ensure all work is completed on time and within budget, with solid site Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Resolve any on-site issues quickly to avoid project delays. You will have client Communication and act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations and handle any changes to project scope and ensure clients are satisfied with the end results.

You will have budget & Cost Management and track project costs and ensure financial targets are met and negotiate with contractors and suppliers to obtain the best rates and manage any budget variations. You will own material management and ensure all materials are ordered and delivered to site on time to avoid delays and if required, source and purchase any additional materials to meet project requirements and maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely supply of high-quality materials and be involved in quality Assurance & Handover: Inspect all completed work to ensure it meets specifications and quality standards. Oversee snagging and ensure any issues are resolved before handover to the client

You will need to have at least 5+ years of experience managing residential refurbishments, renovations, or similar construction projects, have a strong understanding of construction processes, from layout changes to high-quality finishing work and the ability to manage multiple projects at different stages with excellent time management skills and the strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate subcontractors and suppliers and excellent client-facing and communication skills and experience in procurement and material management is a plus.
