Project Engineer Opportunity – Major Power Project in Skye
Contract Scotland are seeking an experienced freelance Project Engineer to join a high-profile underground cable route project in Skye. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale power project with a leading contractor.
The Role:- Support the delivery of a large underground cable installation project.
- Assist in project planning, engineering coordination, and technical support.
- Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and support project reporting.
- Duration: Minimum 6 months with potential for a 3-year contract.
- Start Date: Immediate.
- Location: Skye – accommodation and food allowance provided.
- Tax Method: PAYE only.
- Experience in project engineering within civil engineering, utilities, or power transmission.
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a remote location and contribute to a major infrastructure project.
