Your New Role
As a Project Manager, you'll oversee impactful projects in a dynamic environment. You'll ensure the successful delivery of billable work, adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards while providing outstanding value and service. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading project delivery from start to finish.
- Collaborating with supply chain teams, local representatives, and site managers.
- Monitoring performance indicators and reviewing risk assessments.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and the MoD's carbon reduction goals.
- Managing the Maximo system, resolving complaints, and supporting optimal solutions.
- Handling costs, stakeholder expectations, and contract risks with commercial acumen.
- Inspiring teams to meet KPIs and exceed expectations.
- Managing construction and refurbishment projects for various buildings, including medical centres, office buildings, and aircraft hangars.
What You'll Need to be Successful
- Proven experience in cradle-to-grave project management within the construction industry.
- Leadership skills in managing operational teams and stakeholders.
- Expertise in cost control and safe systems of work.
- HND-level qualification in Building/Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related disciplines) or equivalent experience.
- Management-level qualifications in health and safety (e.g., SMSTS).
- Proficiency in IT tools like Excel and Word.
