QUALITY TECHNICIAN
BRECON
PERMANENT FULL TIME – 3 SHIFT PATTERN
£13.00 PER HOUR PLUS 22% SHIFT ALLOWANCE – TO INCREASE IN APRIL 

Our client, a specialist manufacturer based in Brecon is looking to employ an experienced Shift Quality Technician reporting directly to the Quality Manager who is able to demonstrate good decision making in relation to Production Quality. You will be a technically minded individual who is able to plan and adapt with clear decision making as problems arise. In addition to this you will be a self-motivated individual with a desire to learn and grow with the business displaying a can do and positive outlook.
Ideally you will have experience and exposure within a World Class manufacturing facility with a firm understanding of Process Audits, component measurement, OEE and Lean Manufacturing principles from the plastics or automotive sectors.
You will be working a 3-shift system on a weekly rotation

Responsibilities
•    Process Audits
•    1st off / Last Off and Periodic checks on production parts
•    Aid supervisors with operator training
•    Material checks and colour approval for raw materials
•    Quality defect analysis
•    Warranty analysis
•    Reporting and maintenance of quality data
•    Assist in continuous improvement activities
•    Help to develop 5S standards and behaviour
•    5S auditing
•    Assist in development and refining sample inspection of finished product
•    Assist in product development trials
