The Role
We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a School supporting pupils aged between 11 and 16. Working as part of an established team, the desired SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting children 1-1 or in small groups. The role would be Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

This SEND school in Gloucestershire provides support for secondary aged children (11-16). This school provides students who are at risk of failure and marginalisation within mainstream schooling with opportunities to re-engage and find purpose in their education and lives. Their aim is that short and long-term students succeed educationally and progress to fulfil their considerable potential, becoming citizens of which society can be proud.

Requirements
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience working with SEND children
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Have a caring and positive nature
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Understand the crucial importance of keeping young people and children safe.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Be willing to pay for a DBS check and register with the Update Service .

Salary
£12.86 to £13 per hour
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
