Key Responsibilities:

As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards expected within a top-tier production environment.
  • Conducting technical and visual inspections of parts to identify defects, ensuring both manufactured and inbound products meet specifications
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions to fully understand product requirements
  • Keeping precise records on all non-conformance'sand defects, processing returns as necessary
  • Managing calibration equipment and maintaining a calibration register
  • Collaborating closely with Quality Engineers to report issues and provide feedback on process improvements
  • Meeting face-to-face with customer quality representatives during inspections and ensuring adherence to GDPR and ISO 9001:2015 standards
  • Taking on additional duties and tasks across the business as needed, contributing to continuous quality improvement.
Requirements:
An ideal candidate for this role has previous experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar position within an electronics-based manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with electronic/ electrical components and cabling
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, use test and measurement equipment, and document findings accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office for data documentation and reporting
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610/IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, DEF-STANs, and calibration equipment (preferred)
Please note a DBS/ Security Clearance is required for this role
