Business Executive | Office based or Hybrid (3 days in office) - to begin with it would be office based so someone commutable to TW8 9DF | 9am – 5pm | Competitive Salary along with £10k variable commission payment (uncapped)

You will be responsible for meeting monthly and annual targets by sourcing, maintaining, developing and exploiting business opportunities in the Education sector selling our client's approved Janet txt, or as otherwise agreed, to maintain and develop sales of the company's products and services, in accordance with agreed business plans.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Confident and friendly telephone manner. Speaks clearly, fluently and in a compelling manner to both individuals and groups.
  • Experience of working with the educational sector would be desirable.
  • Telesales experience.
  • Tenacious approach with a can do attitude.
  • A real drive to over achieve targets and excel in a results driven environment and growth-oriented company.
  • Self motivated with drive and ability to plan and organise your day. Commits self to work hard towards goals. Shows enthusiasm and career commitment.
  • Can demonstrate key skills of persuasive and questioning techniques, active listening and persuasion. Influences, convinces or impresses others in a way that results in acceptance, agreement or behaviour change.
  • Can identify problems, gather relevant information, understand cause and effect and implement practical solutions.
  • Excellent Time Management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accurate data inputting and proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and a CRM (Salesforce preferable)
  • Educated to Standard level or similar business qualification. Skills are more important to succeed in this role

What will your role look like?

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers in the Education sector to explain, promote and sell the company's services
  • To achieve Company and personal sales targets and objectives
  • Actively identify and target key decision makers
  • Generate new business leads through proactive cold calling
  • Upsell to existing customers
  • Research and build industry knowledge to ensure best positioning of the company's services
  • Attending relevant events or meetings, as appropriate, to support the sales process.
  • To proactively generate own leads, act quickly and efficiently on any leads and to maximise the business potential
  • Preparing quotations and proposals as required using Salesforce CRM
  • To prepare and present account reviews and sales forecasts to the Head of Sales as required
  • To ensure all accounts and opportunities are fully documented and to manage and update existing account files within the Salesforce CRM
  • Keep regular contact by written or verbal report with the Head of Sales and to comply with reporting and administration requirements
  • Attend Monthly team meetings
