Are you passionate about education and meticulous in managing projects? The Admissions Testing (AT) department, the UK's leading provider of selection tests for over 200 schools across England and Northern Ireland, is looking for a Project Assistant Editor to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:As a Project Assistant Editor, you'll oversee the development of bespoke 11+ tests for a variety of customers. From copy-editing manuscripts to liaising with typesetters, proofreaders, and printers, you'll be the vital link ensuring the smooth production of test components. You'll manage schedules, troubleshoot any delays, and ensure high-quality outputs for the nation's top schools. Reporting to the Deputy Head of Admissions Testing and working closely with the Admissions Testing Editor, you will play a key role in the test development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Copy-edit manuscripts following established style guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely production.
  • Monitor and log the progress of each stage in our project management system.
  • Oversee proof checking and organise external proofing processes.
  • Ensure secure storage of test materials and assist with item trialling as needed.
