Physiotherapist (Band 6)

Operational Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Charing Cross Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute hospital settings, with a focus on neurology, stroke, or neurosurgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation to patients with neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, neurosurgery).
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide input on discharge planning and rehabilitation needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and outcomes.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Acute Hospital Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced hospital setting, preferably in central London.
  • Neurological Experience: Background in treating neurological conditions, including stroke, neurosurgery, or related specialties.
  • HCPC Registration: Must be a fully registered physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
