Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed property surveys and inspections to assess the condition of housing stock and identify necessary repairs.
  • Manage and oversee planned and reactive maintenance programs, ensuring all work meets required health & safety and building regulations.
  • Collaborate with contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective repairs and maintenance across the property portfolio.
  • Prepare and manage budget forecasts for maintenance projects, ensuring financial efficiency while maintaining high standards of work.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of property conditions, repairs, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support the Housing Association in delivering sustainable housing solutions through innovative maintenance strategies.


What Youll Bring:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Surveyor or similar role in the housing sector, preferably in supported housing.
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, construction regulations, and health & safety compliance.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear recommendations for repairs and improvements.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to managing property maintenance and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience managing external contractors and working to strict project timelines and budgets.
  • Relevant qualifications such as RICS, HND/C in Building Surveying, or equivalent are desirable.
