SEN/D Teacher - Hounslow

I am working with a 3-form entry mainstream school who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher to work within the schools (Speech and Language Needs) SLCN class. The class is based within the mainstream school, holds up to 15 pupils in class with speech and language needs. For this role, the ideal candidate will be someone with experience of working with children with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN), to also include pupils with Autism.

As a SEND teacher for a class of up to 15 pupils, you will be working alongside two strong SEN Teaching Assistants.

The successful applicant must have the following:

  • Hold relevant Teaching qualification (QTS is necessary)
  • A passion for working with children with SEN/D.
  • Experience innovating and adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of all pupils within the class.
  • Knowledge of both the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and its means of delivery.
  • High standards of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop a strong partnership with parents/carers.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.

This role will be to start WC: Monday 21st April 2025. The role will be to work Monday to Friday, 08:15am - 16:00pm.

The role will also be paid to scale with SEND allowance.
