Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist with Credit Control, Sales Ledger, and Sales Order Input alongside other ad hoc duties.
  • Deliver and maintain proactive and effective collections processes, ensuring excellent service delivery to clients.
  • Conduct collection and follow-up calls within agreed timescales, maintaining high verification levels on client ledgers.
  • Record and update debtor contact details and collection notes on the operating system.
  • Assist the data processing team by obtaining remittance advice and allocation details for expected debtor receipts.
  • Work closely with Client Management teams to resolve sales ledger queries and manage difficult recovery situations that may require legal action.
  • Maintain first-class client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a finance-related role, with some knowledge of sales invoicing preferred.
  • Experience with Sage is advantageous.
  • Interest in working towards a finance qualification.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems would be beneficial.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
