Commercial Account Executive
Location: Essex/Hybrid
Salary: Negotiable up to £45,000 per annum + Commission, Pension, and Benefits
About the Role
An experienced and highly skilled Commercial Account Executive is required to join a dynamic and growing team. This role offers the opportunity to develop new business while managing and expanding an existing portfolio. You will be working with a supportive and specialised team committed to your career development.
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the insurance industry. The ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and develop businesss to business relationships is essential. You will also be responsible for delivering expert advice to clients, ensuring they make informed decisions about their insurance needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities through marketing activities.
- Establish and manage renewal strategies in line with company procedures to maximise client retention.
- Ensure clients have appropriate coverage for their insurance needs and provide accurate advice.
- Take full ownership of client accounts, resolving queries and issues in a timely manner.
- Carry out thorough administrative duties, ensuring policy documents and processes meet compliance standar
- Handle client complaints in accordance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance.
- Proven track record of winning new business.
- Strong ability to multitask and manage a varied workload.
- Experience in developing strategies to support and grow an account portfolio.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, both face-to-face and in a business-to-business environment.
- Confidence in engaging with key stakeholders.
