It has a small bar operation serving a range of draught and cask lines. For such a small pub it has a great big persoanlity and customers are loyal and committed to the tap whenever events are arrange or entertainment provided.

The ideal operator is someone who can connect with the locals and become that pub-friendly landlord or lady. It's a business which doesn't require too much of a firm hand but rather a caring nurturing touch which loves the business and its customers. An operator will need to be able to drive pub activities and think about spatial restrictions when planning entertainment or events.

I love this pub for its size and what it can do with it. The events it's put on and the regulars who support it are brilliant. It never stops surprising me. Very easy to run, compact working areas back of the house can be challenging at times but as long as you are a good organiser you won't have a problem.
