We are looking for a passionate Marketing Manager to bring structure, focus, and growth to our marketing efforts while working with an existing team of talented individuals.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to formalise our processes and boost efficiency and effectiveness across our marketing department. This role is perfect for someone to create impactful campaigns, streamline workflows, and bring organisation to a creative team environment. You will have the freedom to redefine how we do things, ensuring we are proactive rather than reactive in our marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Planning & Review: Lead the strategic planning and review of marketing campaigns, ensuring every project aligns with business goals and delivers measurable outcomes.
  • Content Creation: Oversee and contribute to the creation of content for marketing campaigns, websites, and social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
  • Website Content Management: Oversee and maintain website content, ensuring that all information is up to date, on-brand, and optimized for user experience and SEO.
  • Email Marketing Campaigns: Plan, create, and manage email marketing campaigns, focusing on engaging our audience and driving participation in our events and activities.
  • Creative Direction: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop original content ideas, including visuals, videos, and written content, that inspire and resonate with our audience.
  • Workflow Management: Develop and formalize workflows to manage team workload efficiently, bringing a structured approach to campaign execution and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Assess current processes, identify gaps, and introduce new methods or tools to optimize team productivity and overall campaign quality.
  • Forward Planning: Implement forward-looking planning practices, allowing the team to manage deadlines effectively and maximize impact.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with existing marketing team members to allocate tasks, maintain balance in workloads, and ensure everyone has the tools and clarity they need to perform well.
  • Internal Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with internal stakeholders from various business units (such as Nuclear High Ropes, Nuclear Wild Forest, and the Secret Nuclear Bunker) to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with overall business objectives and support their specific needs.
  • External Collaboration: When needed, bring on board external partners or agencies to enhance campaign effectiveness and expand capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 4-5 years in a marketing role, ideally with experience in leading a small team or managing processes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven experience in campaign planning, execution, and review, with a data-driven approach to marketing.
  • Content Development: Strong skills in creating or guiding the development of engaging content, including copywriting, visuals, and social media materials.
  • Website & Email Marketing: Experience overseeing website content management and running email marketing campaigns, with knowledge of best practices and tools.
  • Project Management: Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Leadership & People Management: Ability to manage direct reports, guide their professional development, delegate tasks, and ensure team members have clear goals and the resources they need to succeed. Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a creative team to turn ideas into well-executed campaigns.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a growing company with evolving needs, with the ability to pivot strategies as necessary.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of fostering team collaboration and interfacing effectively with other departments.
