We are currently working with an engineering company who are looking to hire a Manual Machinist.
They have been going through a period of growth, with ongoing plans for development so can offer good stability, alongside other benefits such as 25 days holiday and an onsite canteen.
They have onsite parking available and are within a few minutes walk from a train station.
It's a 40 hour working week, working day shifts only.
Responsibilities:
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings
- Machining components and parts to specification using tools eg lathe, mill, grinders, drill
- Working to, and calculating, high tolerances
Skills & Experience required:
- Have practical experience in a similar role
- HNC / NVQ or equivalent in an engineering field desirable
