Salary up to 50,000 per annum + Car Allowance
Our client, a leading specialist in major infrastructure projects, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with a focus on construction and infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be developing and implementing health and safety strategies and procedures.
- As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be developing documentation including RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements), Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans, and CoSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) assessments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be required to have a NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will need a minimum of 4 years' experience in a health and safety role within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will need experience with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations.
- Experience working on highways projects is considered a bonus.
- This role reports to the HSEQ Manager, Site Manager, and clients as required.
