Randstad are partnered with the Empower Learning Academy Trust and are currently looking for aspiring Teaching Assistants in the Upminster area. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of some of the additional needs children may have, and will be willing to learn new things. These opportunities are to start as soon as possible.

To be successful you will have:

  • An understanding of special educational needs including ASD and ADHD
  • Experience working with children, desirable but not essential
  • An enhanced DBS (we can support with this)
  • Full time availability to start immediately
  • 2 references

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the whole SEN department to provide support for all children
  • Provide intervention sessions
  • Support childrens learning outside of the classroom by providing 1:1 and group support
  • Behaviour management
