Immediate Start - Opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a KS1 student that has Learning Difficulties in an Upminster School. The role is to work with the student for part of the day and support where needed in the school for the rest of the day.

An exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant that is happy working with a mixed range of students that have Learning Difficulties across the school.

Monday - Friday, 8.40am - 3.20pm with a 30min break (Term time only)

For the Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Experience and knowledge of working 1-1 with students that have Learning Difficulties.
  • Calm, controlled and effective communication and relate well to all students and adults within the school.
  • The ability to reflect on own behaviour to ensure teams are strong and working together to meet the needs of all student’s.
  • Be able to inspire, motivate and support the students.
  • Have a calm and patient nature.
  • Be willing to learn and develop in the role.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within this.
  • Be comfortable to manage personal care as and when required.

L2/L3 Teaching Assistant, Care or SEND Qualification.
