Hourly rate: 13.33

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Brentwood Borough Council for a Refuse Loader to temporarily join their busy team within the Council's Waste & Recycling Collection department.

The sucessful candidate will be physically fit able to work outdoors in all weathers.

Duties:

• Responsible for refuse and recycling collection from all properties listed including wheeled bins, bulk containers, sacks and bulky items
• Manual handling, clearing of fly tipping, manoeuvring wheeled bins between storage points and vehicles, use the lifting mechanism on the vehicle
• Litter picking and bin emptying
• Walking up to 10 miles per day
• Maintaining a good service to the public at all times
