Role Summary
The role is focused on managing the reconciliation and settlement of insurer accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and financial standards, and maintaining strong relationships with insurers. The role requires coordination with underwriters, sales teams, and finance stakeholders to address queries and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Reconciliation and settlement of insurer accounts
- Liaising with UW / Sales departments regarding queries
- Ensuring month end reconciliations are within deadlines
- Keeping settlements within agreed terms
- Maintaining good insurer relationships
- Responsible for petty cash fund and reconciliation
- Completion of required CPD
Skills
- Experience within a finance department
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Understanding of insurance broking / IBA accounts processes
- Good Excel knowledge
- Understanding of regulatory standards and practices
- Good time management
- Understanding of insurer credit terms
