Location: BrentwoodHours: 36 to 48 hours per week (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)Pay Rate: £13.50 to £14
Are you passionate about providing high-quality care for the elderly? We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our compassionate team in Brentwood.
About the RoleAs a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents throughout the day. You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of care and well-being are maintained.
Responsibilties: As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:- Provide high-quality care - assisting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily activities
- Lead by example - supporting, mentoring, and supervising Care Assistants
- Administer medication - ensuring correct procedures are followed (training provided if required)
- Monitor residents' well-being - identifying any changes and reporting to senior management
- Liaise with families and healthcare professionals - ensuring person-centred care plans are followed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment - ensuring compliance with regulations
- Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or similar role
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Experience in elderly care and a passion for making a difference
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
