Senior Care Assistant - Residential and Nursing Care Home, Brentwood

Location: BrentwoodHours: 36 to 48 hours per week (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)Pay Rate: £13.50 to £14

Are you passionate about providing high-quality care for the elderly? We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our compassionate team in Brentwood.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents throughout the day. You will lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of care and well-being are maintained.

Responsibilties: As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:
  • Provide high-quality care - assisting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily activities
  • Lead by example - supporting, mentoring, and supervising Care Assistants
  • Administer medication - ensuring correct procedures are followed (training provided if required)
  • Monitor residents' well-being - identifying any changes and reporting to senior management
  • Liaise with families and healthcare professionals - ensuring person-centred care plans are followed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment - ensuring compliance with regulations
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or similar role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
  • Experience in elderly care and a passion for making a difference
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
