Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Location: East London

Prime Appointments is working with a fast-growing Building Services Design Consultancy in East London, looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

This consultancy delivers a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, offering broad sector exposure. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and oversee complex mechanical building services projects, ensuring seamless integration with other engineering disciplines

  • Prepare detailed mechanical specifications, reports, single-line diagrams, schematics, load calculations, and budget estimates, ensuring compliance with project timelines and regulations

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to build strong relationships and ensure successful project delivery

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring completion to the highest standards



Skills & Experience Required

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical design tools

  • Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems and their integration with other disciplines

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
