Project Engineer Marine

Introduction

Are you a highly skilled engineer with a strong interest and passion in de-carbonisation and robust technologies used for harsh environments? Do you have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail? This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer Marine to join a cutting-edge company in the hydrogen and low carbon technology industry. This role offers the chance to work on innovative projects, providing solutions for in-field failures and issues, and identifying and troubleshooting technical challenges and product issues/failures observed during operation.

What You Will Do

  • Provide support to projects as required, including BOM control and management of subcontract design and analysis activity
  • Assist in the design and analysis of company systems, including component selection, system integration, and performance optimisation
  • Provide solutions for in-field failures and issues on  products and projects
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges and product issues/failures observed during operation, and propose innovative solutions
  • Under the supervision of the Principal Engineer, support with introduction of the solution into the products/projects
  • Participate in testing protocols, data collection, and validation efforts to ensure the reliability and safety of the dual fuel systems
  • Previous experience with Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's) 

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering
  • Strong interest & passion in de-carbonisation and robust technologies that are used for harsh environments (high TRL technologies)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written communication skills and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
