The company requires completion of a Personality Profile Assessment (PPA) and a General Intelligence Assessment (GIA).

  • Ability to support the busy trade counter, serving customers face-to-face
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive and hardworking attitude, able to work under pressure
  • Proven track record in telephone sales within the Electrical Wholesale or similar trade industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and able to manage own workload
  • Dynamic, with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and success
  • A 'can-do' attitude – the team always strive to make it work for the customer

What will your role look like?

  • Grow and maintain relationships with a diverse customer base, providing exceptional levels of customer service
  • Handle telephone sales, trade counter interactions, and occasional warehouse duties and deliveries
  • Develop strategies to increase business from existing, new, and dormant accounts
  • Liaise with manufacturers to secure the best terms for large projects, overseeing them from quotation to completion and beyond
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently
  • Promote and sell our wide range of products, encouraging repeat business
