Academics are working with a lovely primary school in Thurrock who are seeking Learning Coaches to join their successful school in October, on a long-term contract. You will be working with students who have SEN & SEMH and can display some challenging behaviour.

The role of the appointed Learning Coach will be to enable pupils with specific impairments access to learning by supervising and assisting pupils (one to one and in small groups) across a wide range of activities and supported learning activities.

The aim of your role is to promote the development of the physical and mental well-being of pupils. You will manage and supervise pupil behaviour (which can be challenging at times) and to contribute to the effective organisation of the school with administrative and clerical support by employing de-escalation techniques and using positive handling where necessary.

Team Teach training will be provided.
