EA Associates are recruiting on behalf of a Social Housing Contractor based in the south Essex area.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Social housing / refurbishment experience (contractor or client side considered)
• Degree within Quantity Surveying - desirable
• Understanding of NHF / Schedule of Rates

Role Overview:

• Prepare and dispatch tender packages to subcontractors
• Set up job files and all necessary records
• Collate sub-contractor tenders and in consultation with the Contracts Manager, award subcontracts
• Liaise with subcontractors to resolve queries
• Assess and cost variations to contract
• Update and maintain records
• Assist with contract valuations
• Assist with monthly cost/value reconciliations
