Daniel Owen Agency are currently looking for a HSQE / Compliance Manager based in Brentwood, Essex. We are looking for someone who has extensive experience within the Rail industry, having a minimum of 3 years within the Rail industry.

In order to be suitable for this position, you MUST have a Valid PTS ticket & Nebosh Certificate / Qualification. You MUST also have a Full UK Driving License.

Duties:
* Production, monitoring and audit of the safety quality and environmental policies and procedures.
* Ensure the company is compliant to the strict industry standards of Network Rail's RISQS standards.
* Manage the HSQE and Compliance of the company to maintain full engagement in meeting the business objectives.
* Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvement initiatives.
* Ensure safety stand downs are undertaken in accordance with RISQ standards.
* Compile and maintain risk assessments, method statements and policies for the company activities.
* Manage Close Call reporting.
* Manage the process of reporting of accidents and incidents.
* Train and brief staff on lessons learnt following any accidents and incidents.

Skills
* NEBOSH qualified with comprehensive knowledge of safety and operational issues.
* At least 3 years of experience in the rail industry and a valid PTS ticket.
* Strong understanding of railway processes, procedures, and Sentinel Rules.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable to unexpected challenges.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word and Excel, with a willingness to travel and learn.
