Purchase Ledger and Accounts Assistant

Location: Brentwood, Essex

Salary: £25,000-30,000 and Hybrid working

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the finance team with various accounting tasks and projects.
  • Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have/ be:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage.
