If so, Randstad Education is seeking a Cover Supervisor for the Upminster location. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

Requirements
- Right to work in the UK - this is essential
- Must provide 2 proven professional references - this is essential
- Possess or willing to obtain a DBS Certificate on the update service
- Previous experience in a classroom, either as a cover supervisor or as a teaching assistant!
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skill, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced educational environment
Responsibilities
- Supervising and managing the classroom in the absence of the classroom teacher
- Ensuring all students are on task and completing the prepared activities
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure children remain on task with their learning activities
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation and engagement
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
- Provide feedback to teachers about the progress and behaviour of Children during their lessons
- Supporting students who may require additional support
