We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join our secondary schools in Shenfield. This is a full-time position, starting immediately, offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Design & Technology Teacher to inspire and engage students through creative and practical lessons.

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across a range of D&T disciplines, ensuring students develop key skills in design, construction, and problem-solving. You will be instrumental in shaping the creative and technical abilities of our students, fostering a love for innovation and craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities of the Design & Technology Teacher role include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Supporting students' practical work in areas such as product design, woodwork, textiles, and more.
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their potential.
  • Managing the classroom environment effectively, promoting a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop the Design & Technology curriculum and enhance student learning.
