Responsibilities:

** Inspire a passion for history! Deliver engaging and informative history lessons across Key Stages 3 - Key Stage 5, captivating students and fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of historical events and contexts.

** Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the history curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and exciting.

** Student Progress: Monitor and support the progress of all students, providing feedback that fosters their academic and personal growth.

** Collaborative Teamwork: Join forces with the Humanities department and other colleagues to exchange best practices and drive a culture of ongoing progress.

** Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students.

** Assess and track student progress, maintaining accurate records.

** Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

** Support extracurricular history activities and events.

Experienced History Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT) are strongly encouraged to apply for this post!

Requirements:

** Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
