Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK
  • Experience of teaching Maths in KS3 and KS4
  • A proven track record of recent and successful class teaching in an 11-16 school
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development

Responsibilities

  • Must deliver Maths lessons up to KS4 GCSE
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver suitable lessons within the specialist subject area, ensuring accessibility for all students
  • Attend staff training sessions and meetings
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student growth and achievement.
  • Uphold discipline using various classroom management techniques in alignment with the school's behaviour management policy
  • Guide students in applying mathematical concepts to real-world scenarios
