Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? Do you have experience working with young people with autism or other learning differences? TeacherActive is looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to join our team in Brentwood, supporting students aged 10-19 in an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students with special educational needs, focusing on autism support.
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to enhance student engagement and learning.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN students, particularly with autism.

  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake further training.
