Recruiting for a Midday Support Assistant to join the team in an Upminster School to provide a safe and happy lunchtime period for children with Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs.

This Midday Support Assistant role would be perfect for someone wanting to gain further experience within a school setting.

To start, 22nd April 2025 - Monday to Friday, 2hrs per day with the opportunity of additional hours being offered (Not Guaranteed) - Term time only

Midday Support Assistant Role:

  • Assist the children during the lunchtime period to ensure a safe and happy play as 1-1 support.
  • Supervising the children whilst eating at meal times, being mindful of their dietary requirements and ensure they are adhered to accordingly.
  • Monitor the behaviour of the children, discouraging any negative behaviour in a positive way and ensuring any incidents are reported as appropriate.
  • Happy to assist with medical, physical and personal care needs when needed.
  • Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
